Norman Silverstone was born in Montreal where, at the age of nine, he began experimenting with photography when his father gave him his first camera – a Kodak Brownie Starflash.
In his diverse photographic career, Silverstone has worked as a photographer, an artist, a teacher, and a technician. His primary focus has been Portraiture. Currently he is drawing on his talents and wealth of personal resources in the Fine Arts field and perpetually replenishing his artistic portfolio.
