We are happy to announce that the Witches Paddle will commence again this year!
The event will take place on SATURDAY OCTOBER 07, 2023.
We will meet at Sproat Lake Provincial Park and paddle from 1:00 to 3:00ish. Please join us for some wicked fun as our paddling community swap brooms for kayaks, canoes and stand-up paddle boards (SUPs) to stir up some witches’ brew dressed in Halloween costumes.
Should you wish to participate please bring your human-powered pleasure craft, paddle, along with the appropriate safety equipment.
Please ensure that your costume doesn’t restrict your movement, ability to swim and stay buoyant should you happen to fall in the water. Ideally your PFD or lifejacket will be worn under your costume.
This is an informal event, participants are welcome to come and go throughout the event.
Please come at your own risk. The organizers will not be held liable.
If you come late, please just launch and join in when you can!
*Your participation is not supervised by Activate Athletic studio.
