The story of Walk the Coast began in 2003. Chiropractor, Dr. Brent Manson, wanted to research comfort footwear options that were good for the body. He knew that his patients and people he saw were wearing footwear that was causing them pain.

When the options were lacking in the Alberni Valley he decided to open a store with his wife Stacey. As they were preparing the store Sarah Jones, a certified pedorthist came along and added her own style and expertise.

Walk the Coast is able to find great shoes and clothing sourced from right here in Canada to around the world. They are proud to offer the broadest selection of footwear on Vancouver Island. Almost 15 years later, we still look for proper biomechanics and quality when selecting footwear.
