Port Alberni Fall Fair
SEPTEMBER 7-10, 2023
One of our absolute favourite events of the year. In early September, find entertainment for the whole family at Port Alberni’s midway, agriculture shows, and logging demonstrations. Explore the maze of exhibits, animal displays, and food booths at the Port Alberni Fall Fair. Be sure to take in the community-wide parade.
The 39th Port Alberni Toy Run
SEPTEMBER 16-17, 2023
What started with 8 guys delivering a few toys to the Salvation Army on their bikes just before Christmas in 1984, now attracts upwards of 1,500 motorcycles to Port Alberni on the third weekend of September each year. This 2 day event is fun-filled with activities ranging from pancake breakfasts, games for children, bike games, poker rally, beer gardens and more
Cheer on the many motorcyclists as they travel in solid formation through the Alberni Valley on the Toy Run, delivering a massive haul of toys to the Salvation Army and distributed at Christmas time. All monies raised stay within the regional district, and are donated back to various children’s groups, activities, and health therapy.
