Summer is upon us and the Alberni Valley live music scene is set to keep you groovin’ all season long. With major music events like the Okee Dokee Funtastic Music Festival and the Five Acre Shaker Festival headlining the season as well as some amazing shows at smaller venues like the Rainbow Room and Char’s Landing the live music connoisseur will find plenty to choose from. And just because summer comes to an end (sad emoji) doesn’t mean the music has to. Port Alberni has amazing live music events all throughout the year for you to enjoy.

Okee Dokee Funtastic Music Festival

After a full day at the Okee Dokee Slo-pitch tournament head on over to the Bob Dailey Stadium for the Funastic Music Festival! 5 Acre Shaker Summer Concert Series

Join us for two evenings of live music this summer on Vancouver Island. Taking place on August 5th & 6th, at the Kinsmen Community Complex & Fall Fair Grounds, in Port Alberni, BC. The Five Acre Concert series will feature live music, local food trucks, refreshing beverages, on-site tent or RV/Vehicle camping, with hosts Hillbilly Steve and comedian Randii Andii, and an after-party with DJ Subtheory. Born from the spirit of the Five Acre Shaker, this summer’s Concert Series is a new tradition that will bring back live music to the people of the Alberni Valley and Vancouver Island.

Alberni Fall District Fall Fair

A perennial favourite of the Alberni Valley, for all you live music lovers, the Alberni Valley District Fall Fair’s live music is not to be missed. This year the main stage will feature the legendary “Chilliwack” as well as many others for a very solid lineup during the 4 day fair and festival. The fall fair is a family friendly event so everyone is welcome.
