It’s that time of year again! Bring the kids down to Harbour Quay Marina for a morning of fishing, fun, and fresh air at the annual Children’s Bullhead Fishing Derby.

This free community event is open to children 12 and under and promises plenty of excitement, memories, and prizes for all fisherkids! ??

What to bring:
✔ A parent or guardian (required)
✔ A life jacket (must be worn)
✔ Fishing rod (limited loaners available, first come first served)
✔ Bait
✔ A bucket for your catch
✔ Your best fishing face ?

Whether your child is brand new to fishing or already hooked, this event is sure to be a reel good time. Hosted by the Alberni Valley Lions Club, it’s a great way to celebrate summer and spend time together by the water.
