Join us for the 13th annual Family Farms Day, hosted by the Alberni Valley Food Security Society in partnership with the Alberni‑Clayoquot Regional District. Explore a unique, self-guided tour of both urban and rural agricultural sites throughout the valley—perfect for families, food lovers, and anyone keen on learning more about local farming.
What to Expect:
- Visit eight exceptional farms, including Coleman Meadows, Arrowvale Farm, Morning Star Woollens, Rages Farm, Eden Tree Farm & Garden, Hupacasath Community Farm, The Tiny Farm, and Shelter Farm.
- Meet local farmers, learn about sustainable agriculture, gardening, fibre production, and more.
- Purchase fresh, locally produced goods—don’t forget to pack a cooler and bring cash!
- Enjoy free family-friendly perks like a recipe book and children’s activity booklet available at each site.
