Family New Year’s Eve fun with glow skating, games and a balloon drop
Kick off New Year’s Eve with a family friendly First Night Party at the Alberni Valley Multiplex. From 6:00 to 9:00 pm, the arena turns into a colourful celebration with free glow skating, snacks and activities for all ages.
Lace up for free glow skating on the ice from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, then head to the upper lounge for crafts, games and more free eats until 9:00 pm. The night wraps up with a balloon drop in the lounge at 9:00 pm sharp, giving younger kids a chance to count down early.
First Night is hosted by the City of Port Alberni Parks, Recreation and Culture Department in partnership with the Port Alberni Toy Run. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
