Port Alberni’s Celebration of Our Waterfront

When: Saturday, June 14, 2025 • 10 AM – 1 PM
Where: Water Street Docks (behind Port Boat House)

Join us for Port Day 2025, a free, family-friendly celebration hosted by the Port Alberni Port Authority! Explore the working waterfront with:

• Food & Drinks — enjoy a free BBQ hosted by the Port Authority and other tasty offerings
• Live Entertainment — music from the Marim Buzz Band (10 AM–12 PM) plus fun surprises
• Kid‑Focused Fun — face painting by Mandy, balloon art from Sharky Balloons (including a gigantic pirate-ship balloon!), and a photobooth to capture memories
• Interactive Activities — visit the Spirit Square Farmer’s Market, Alberni Valley Makerspace demos, and hands-on exhibits
• Community Booths & Challenges — pick up a “Passport to PA,” collect stamps from community booths, and enter to win a prize pack
• Industry & Vessel Tours — tour boats and meet local marine professionals from Port Boat House, the Maritime Heritage Society, and the Western Canada Marine Response Corporation
• Arts & Culture Corner — collaborate on eco‑friendly art projects with the Community Arts Council and Tseshaht First Nation at Grove Gallery’s workshop
