Salty Hearts Festival returns to Bamfield for a three-day coastal gathering where music, community, and creativity come together. Set between Downtown Bamfield and the beaches of Pachena Bay, this 19+ festival offers a laid-back West Coast experience shaped by live music, shared moments, and the natural beauty of Vancouver Island’s wild shoreline.

Across the weekend, you can move between oceanfront stages, late-night dance sessions, and relaxed daytime hangouts. Expect live performances at the Hacas Inn, cozy tented spaces for dining and dancing, artisan markets, jam sessions, and group activities like square dancing—all designed to bring people together in an easygoing, welcoming setting.

Camping at Pachena Bay Campground is part of the experience, with dedicated festival sites, communal kitchens, bonfires, and shared spaces that make it easy to connect with fellow attendees. Mornings might start with a beach walk or coffee by the ocean, while evenings build into high-energy sets and late-night gatherings under the stars.

The 2026 lineup features Balkan Bump, Reposado, Miina, Surf Hat, Cole Dust Gang, Fanfare, Bassos Rancheros, Wave Dalton, Mt. Eliah, along with special late-night guests and pop-up performances throughout the weekend.

Beyond the music, the festival includes a mix of local experiences like a scavenger hunt, open mic sessions, and even a polar bear swim—adding to the sense of spontaneity and community that defines Salty Hearts.
