It's only a matter of a months before we can hike up into alpine views like this! 🏔️⁠⁠5040 peak is a 7.1-km out-and-back trail, generally considered a challenging route. It takes an average of 4 h 30 min to complete. This is a very popular area for backpacking, camping, and hiking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.⁠⁠Remember to respect the terrain, environment, and other users while enjoying the trails. Sproat Lake is home to one of the finest examples

Sproat Lake is home to one of the finest examples of prehistoric petroglyphs in British Columbia. Accessible from Sproat Lake Provincial Park, enjoy a short walk from the main parking lot through the day use picnic area. These ancient rock carvings can be found on a lakeside rock face where a floating platform now offers a perfect view of these remarkable artworks while preserving their integrity.⁠
