2026 Micro-Grant Fund Now Open
Applications Now Open for Local Event Organizers.
The Alberni Valley Tourism Association is now accepting applications for the 2026 Events & Experiences Micro-Grant Fund.
This program supports local organizers who are bringing new events and creative experiences to the Alberni Valley Regional District. Whether you’re planning a new festival, cultural event, outdoor experience, or community gathering, this fund is designed to help initiatives that attract visitors, build community, and strengthen our local tourism economy.

Who Should Apply?
Event organizers, community groups, businesses, and non-profit organizations with ideas that take place within the Alberni Valley Regional District are encouraged to apply. Preference is given to projects that:
- Draw visitors to the region
- Encourage overnight stay
- Activate community spaces
- Add something new or unique to the local event calendar
Early/Priority Intake Window Deadline
Applications for early/priority intake are open until February 27, 2026.
