Enjoy Year-Round Golf in the Alberni Valley

Regardless of your skill level, there’s nothing like spending a couple hours, or even an afternoon, out on the golf course. It can be a friendly competition against friends or with yourself. It challenges both your mind and body and allows you to look inward and work towards improvement. Port Alberni is home to fantastic 2 golf courses, the Alberni Golf Club and Hollies Executive Golf Course.

Alberni Golf Club

The Alberni Golf Club has been an established part of the Alberni Valley since the early 1920’s. Rich in history, this beautiful golf course stretches along the salmon bearing Somass River, with picturesque views of Mount Arrowsmith, this par 70, 18 hole course promises a very scenic round of golf.

Hollies Executive Golf Course

Hollies Executive Golf Course is comprised mainly of six Par 3 holes ranging from 117 to 158 yards and three short par 4 holes. The course, while appearing to be flat, is in fact a jewel for the beginning golfer. There is a minimum of trees and sand traps making golf life for the player new to the game unintimidating.

Ideal if you are looking for… beginner (and budget!) friendly
