Alberni District Fall Fair Returns September 10–13, 2026
For more than 80 years, the Alberni District Fall Fair has brought the community together to celebrate agriculture, local talent, entertainment, and the changing season. From September 10–13, 2026, the fairgrounds on Hollywood Street will welcome visitors for four days of family-friendly activities, live performances, exhibits, food vendors, and midway fun.
The 81st Alberni District Fall Fair offers plenty to fill an afternoon, evening, or full weekend. Along with longtime favourites such as the Saturday parade and Sunday Logger Sports, the 2026 program includes live music, freestyle motocross, professional wrestling, agricultural classes, creative exhibits, children’s activities, and midway rides from West Coast Amusements.
Whether the Fall Fair is part of your family’s annual routine or this will be your first visit, there is something to enjoy at every age.

Sunset over the midway creates one of the most memorable views at the Alberni District Fall Fair.
A Tradition That Brings the Community Together
The Alberni District Fall Fair celebrates the people, skills, and traditions that contribute to life in the Alberni Valley. Agriculture remains an important part of the weekend, with livestock classes and opportunities for 4-H members and other exhibitors to share the knowledge and care that go into raising animals.
Inside the exhibit buildings, visitors can view entries in horticulture, floriculture, culinary arts, needlecraft, hobbies, crafts, photography, and visual arts. From homegrown produce and preserves to handmade projects and photographs, the displays recognize the time and creativity of local participants.
Outside, the midway returns with rides and games, while vendors serve a variety of meals, snacks, sweet treats, and familiar fair favourites. Community organizations and local businesses will also be on the grounds throughout the weekend.
